STW started in early 2019
Women currently make up only ten percent of the construction industry- that works out to maybe one of us on any given jobsite. When four of us ended up on a tilt up project in Spokane Valley, it was the most women we’d ever seen on one job! We got together after work one day to hang out and talk shop. Shortly after that, Spokane Tradeswomen was born!
What are we about?
Our goal is to recruit, mentor, and support women in the trades! From helping women with the application process, to providing resources and support throughout their apprenticeship and career, we’re here!
